We're Your Neighbors

Aloha Paws was born right here on the Big Island — by pet lovers, for pet lovers. We started and continue to maintain this because we believe that our community deserves a local pet shop that truly understood island life: the unique climate our animals live in, the local makers crafting incredible products in our own backyard, and the aloha spirit that ties us all together.

We're not a big-box store. We're your neighbors, and our keiki both human and furry (maybe some furry humans) are growing up right alongside yours.

  • Hawaii Deer Jerky – Our single best-selling treat flown in monthly from Maui. All-natural, locally sourced deer that dogs of all shapes and sizes go wild for. 
  • Pawniolo Treats – Handcrafted right here in Hawaii, these small-batch goodies are made with ingredients you can trust and often find on your own table like beef, chicken, venison, and more!
  • Poi Dog Jerky – Named after Hawaii's own mixed-breed icon, these jerky treats are a local staple. Made on Oahu and shipped in monthly these will get your doggo's tail wagging like no other!
  • Lei Day Shirts – Because your pup deserves to celebrate in style. Our Lei Day pet shirts are a customer favorite sold year-round to spread Aloha all day every day.
  • Locally Hand Sewn Bandanas - Hand sewn by Aunty at MJ Kreations these are a hit amongst locals and tourists alike, there is a style for everyone.
